What Is Invisalign?
Invisalign® is a clear aligner created from a digital scan of the patient’s teeth. Approximately every two weeks you will change out the aligner allowing for your teeth to subtly shift into place without the need for braces. With Invisalign, you can easily remove them allowing you to eat and drink whatever you please; along with being able to brush and floss without working around brackets.
How Does Invisalign Work?
Your custom trays will be created using a BPA-free plastic. Each set of trays will gently shift your teeth a little bit at a time. For the best results, we encourage our patients to wear their aligner trays for 20-22 hours each day.

What Happens During Appointments?
During your first appointment, our highly trained staffed will take photos, x-rays, a digital scan of your teeth, and conduct a thorough dental exam. We will use this information to create a 3D model of your teeth and create your custom treatment plan. This treatment plan will show how your teeth will adjust over time, allowing you to see the projected result before beginning treatment. This plan will also go over how often we will see you in our office, how often you need to switch aligner trays, and how long your treatment will last. At your next appointment, we will give you the custom-made aligner trays and go over the proper way to care for them. Most patients only need to see us every 3 to 4 months to monitor your teeth and ensure they are tracking; and most treatments last nine to fifteen months.
Who Is a Candidate for Invisalign?
Both adults and teens are candidates for Invisalign, and our teen aligners have a blue compliance indicator, so parents are assured they are being worn for the recommended hours. With Invisalign, you will never feel self-conscious about your smile again while straightening your teeth. Even the most complicated cases can now be done with Invisalign. Dr. Hadavand has undergone additional training to be able to handle difficult cases with Invisalign to provide you options that were not an option before. Dr. Hadavand is committed to achieving the results you are seeking that fits your lifestyle

The Treatment
Your teen’s smile journey begins with a scan or impressions. We will work closely with Invisalign treatment specialists to develop a complete digital treatment plan to plot your teen’s best smile with care from start to finish..
The Aligners
Your teen will receive Invisalign clear aligners created with the Invisalign system’s proprietary SmartTrack material. Throughout treatment, you can monitor your son’s or daughter’s compliance through an indicator on the aligner. Your teen will wear the aligners for 22 hours per day, but can easily remove them so there are fewer interruptions to his or her lifestyle.
The Transformation
As your teen progresses through treatment, his or her smile and life will transform through a series of small, expertly designed shifts. And with the Invisalign Teen Guarantee, you have the option to switch to wires and brackets if your teen decides against Invisalign treatment within the first six months.

Invisalign First Aligners are:
- Designed to treat a broad range of teeth straightening issues in growing children, from simple to complex, including crowding, spacing, and narrow dental arches.
- Removable for easy hygiene, making it easier for growing children to brush and floss.
- Designed for comfort – which means no discomfort from rubbing brackets or poking wires.
